The World of Wristwatches
For as long as I can remember, I’ve seen or worn wristwatches. It wasn’t always so common; not too long ago humanity was using sundials and obelisks to keep track of the hours. What changed? How did we get from an 8 feet tall grandfather clock to a touchscreen watch that can tell you your pulse? This book explains. The World of Wristwatches is a linear categorization and narrative about the creation and popularization of the wristwatch.
